TheIcebreak.com users and their role in “The War On Pubic Hair”

This past week, Salon and The Guardian both shared a post written by Emily Gibson who demanded that “The War on Pubic Hair” stop! Citing concerns about irritation from shaving and suffering skin, the purpose of pubic hair was made clear. Providing a cushion against friction and protecting from bacteria, pubic hair was declared friend not foe. But often informed by fashion trends and pornography, there are many perspectives on trimming your intimate garden, as it were.
Curious about the trends and how they effect couples, TheIcebreak.com asked our users about their private pubic habits. Relationship-based results for women are above. Age-based results, including results from men, are below. These results below are the percentages of users who answered the question.

So it would seem that our users are expert sharpshooters in the War on Pubic Hair, with Brazilian style being the most popular almost across the board and sculpted/trimmed as second most popular. Brazilians tend to be popular because of the unique aesthetic qualities including smooth skin, a youthful appearance, and the association with 99% of mainstream pornography; however those responsible for their upkeep often complain about the cost, the hassle, the frequency, and unavoidable pain. Either way, the Brazilian seems to reign supreme.
